Regnards are a long line of knights. The last three generations have served under the Sinclair family (that is Kevin and his brothers, his father, and his grandfather). It currently consists of four members:
The father, Sir Arnold Sinclair
Matthew, the first son (age 20)
Owen, the second son (age 18)
Kevin, the third son (age 15)
Kevin's mother became ill and died shortly after when he was seven years old.
Each of the boys has been made a full-fledged knight (more accurately, a bodyguard) at age 15, Kevin only a few months ago. All of them are proud to serve the Sinclairs and bring honor to their houses.
Sinclair family.
The Sinclair family consists of five members:
The father, Lord Roman Sinclair
The mother, Lady Florence Sinclair
(as far as I know, these names as canonical.)
Christina, the first daughter (age 10)
Isabella, the second daughter (age 7)
Emily, the third daughter (will be born in a few years)
Of the Regnards, the sons are assigned as bodyguards to the daughters (except Kevin, who currently in his timeline mostly sees to Lady Florence's needs) while their father serves directly under Lord Roman and his wife.
personality.
Kevin is quite different from the man we know as Xerxes Break. He can be quite moody and serious, most of the time making people wonder if he even knows how to smile. He usually seems at least somewhat sullen and won't speak unless spoken to. He's rather easy to anger, too, but he's usually able to keep himself in check and mind his manners - he will just come off as even more grumpy and taciturn than usual. However, if you do manage to get him riled, expect foul words and tantrums.
Despite his usual demeanor, he does know how to take it easy. He likes fencing and reading and has a bit of sweet tooth, so with any of these three things at hand he's likely to relax and show his more agreeable side. He's also very fond of both his biological family and the Sinclairs, and everyone in the household (including all the other servants) are equally important to him.
Kevin is not a people person: he shies away from especially individuals of the opposite sex and those of higher social status. He knows all the proper etiquette and manners, but when it comes down to it, he never really knows how to handle the situation and thus prefers to stay out of them completely. His liking of a person can be easily measured by how responsive he is to them.
appearance.
Kevin is easily recognisable as young Xerxes Break due to his hair and eye color. He's a tad shorter, by two or three inches maybe, and his face might appear more round and childlike, but that will all be gone in a few years. The thing that really sets him apart from the present version of him is that he still has his both eyes and the sour expression.
His hair is cut rather like Break's, short all around, but he's working on growing his hair so that it covers his eyes - the left more than the right due to a stupid hair whorl. This is because while it has already been fifty years since the Tagedy of Sablier, red eyes still aren't viewed as a good thing and Kevin would rather have all the people scowl at his hair than the color of his eyes.
Kevin tends to wear simple shirts and pants and sometimes a vest to go with them, but nothing too fancy. Most of his clothes are either white or black, and if he has to pick a color, he'll go with dark blue, purple or sometimes brown. He doesn't want to stand out any more than he already does with his weird hair and eyes. He also carries a sword anywhere he goes.
